Andrews University
Continuing Education for Teachers

Andrews University has partnered with Virtual Education Software, inc. to offer continuing education for teachers on CD-Rom or online. These interactive courses provide expert instruction at a pace that fits your schedule and are offered for Graduate Credit.

Credit may be applicable for certification renewal and/or salary advancement (with authorization from your state or district certification office) if you hold a teaching certificate. If you teach in Michigan, certification renewal requires a planned program. Check with the university/college providing your planned program concerning the acceptance of these classes. If you do not teach in one of these states, call for more information.

These are graduate courses; therefore you must have a bachelor's degree or above to enroll and receive credit.

Course credit may be transferable with prior approval from the university providing your advanced degree or planned program.

Andrews University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). Its teacher training and school services programs are further accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and by the State of Michigan Department of Education and has been ranked the #1 teacher preparation program in Michigan the last two years in a row.

TO REGISTER for one or more courses, please call: 1-800-313-6744 between 8:00AM-5:00PM PST, Monday through Friday.

VESi recommends that you check with your school district and/or state licensing agency to verify these course offerings will meet your district and/or state requirements for salary advancement and/or state certificate re-licensure.
