Holyoke Community College has partnered with Virtual Education Software, inc. to provide continuing education courses for educators that provide interactive instruction on strategies for teaching students with special behavioral and learning needs. Packed with practical applications for the classroom, these computer-based accredited programs with MA PDP's are self-paced and easy to use from your computer's CD-Rom player or online.
VESi recommends that you check with your school district and/or state licensing agency to verify these course offerings will meet your district and/or state requirements for salary advancement and/or state certificate re-licensure.
Undergraduate and Graduate Professional Development Level Courses Now Available.
VESi Professional Development Programs at the Graduate Professional Development Level (GPDL) are now available. The GPDL level requires additional writing assignments of answering a Critical Thinking Question (a minimum of 500 words) at the end of every chapter (the courses have 4 to 6 chapters). You must also review and write an essay (minimum 200 words) on three relevant journal articles of your choice on topics related to the course at the end of your class. Students that successfully pass the GPDL coursework receive MA PDP portfolio documentation indicating GPDL study. Writing assignments are evaluated by VESi faculty.
