Harry was frequently “off the wall.” He could not concentrate at school and was becoming quite a handful. His parents and teachers tried everything to remediate his behavior but to no avail. Harry’s parents finally scheduled an appointment with their physician. Dr. Morris diagnosed him as having ADHD and prescribed Ritalin. Harry’s parents and teachers noticed improved behavior while he was on the medication and were pleased on how Harry was behaving at home and at school; Harry’s teachers were particularly happy to see better concentration during the school day.
