Quick (2020) proposed that all ethical leaders should ask these questions. This is a good list to have next to your computer or on your desk. Maybe even post it in a leadership meeting to remind the team.

“How will these changes assist all students in fully developing their individual potential?

How do the proposed changes empower stakeholders, and which ones?

Are some individuals having their power diminished?

Are all individuals and perspectives being respected?

What are the long- term benefits and/or consequences of the action across the entire system?

Will this positively affect the relationships within the community or will they be diminished?

And finally, what are any other costs and benefits from the proposed change?” (p. 135).
