Voice

1. When someone reads what I wrote they hear someone talking
2. I wrote in passive voice, or active voice
3. I did not mix first person, second person, or third person

Word Choice

1. The words I use support my topic
2. I have strong verbs so a reader “sees” action
3. Some words make pictures in the reader’s mind
4. I avoided clichés and buzzwords
5. I did not use the same word multiple times
