Professional Development Graduate Courses (up to nine credits) for $225
Purchase an annual subscription to gain access to online graduate courses at a significant savings only available to POE members. You'll be able to take one course each term for a total of three courses per year. Courses are offered through a partnership with Avila University and Virtual Education Software (VESi).

Avila University will accept up to 9 credits into their Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction graduate program. To inquire with Avila regarding their Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction program, please visit https://www.graduateprogram.org/avila-university/.
The term in which course grades will appear on the Avila University transcript will be based on the date upon which the course is completed and grade submitted to Avila, not the date on which you register. Please remember that there is a two-week minimum for course completion, so if you happen to complete and submit your course before the two-week minimum has elapsed, the course completion date will be the date on which your two-week minimum has been met.

Know that Avila has a 6 credit maximum for the fall term, a 6 credit maximum for the spring term and a 9 credit maximum for the summer term. So you need to be certain to plan your completions so that you are not exceeding the the credit max for the given term (term is based on when you complete and submit the course).
- Courses completed August 19th, 2023 - December 8th 2023 appear under Fall Term
- Courses completed December 9th, 2023 - May 3rd, 2024 appear under Spring Term
- Courses completed May 4th, 2024 - August 9th, 2024 appear under Summer Term
